Using the Content Catalog
Use the Content Catalog to navigate the conference schedule, and view detailed information on sessions and activities. You do not need to log in to view the session offerings at Cisco Live. In order to create a customized schedule for the sessions that interest you the most, you will be required to login.
Searching for Sessions
To find sessions in the Content Catalog, you can select filters on the left sidebar or enter search terms into the search bar.
Click the + icon on the Filters sidebar to expand and view all options for that filter. Click a select box to choose your filter. You may choose more than one for Session Type, Technology, Solutions, Technical Level and Day.
To remove filters from your search results, click the “x” symbol after the filter or click ‘Clear All’ (both are located below the search box).
To see all session details, click on the session title. Clicking on a speaker name will show more details for that speaker and provide a link to all of the speaker’s sessions.
We suggest you start your search with ‘Learning Paths’. These are a series of tailored agendas for specific technology focus areas that would assure you are exposed to all the offerings relevant to you.
Select ‘Learning Path’ on the left sidebar, and choose your preferred topic. You will be provided with a recommended learning agenda from which you can choose your most relevant sessions and book them.
To Favorite a Session and Add It to Your Interests
You can add a session to your favorites list by clicking the star. Click the box next to ‘Show Favorites only’ in the search bar to view your favorites list.

To add a session to your schedule, click the ‘Schedule’ button below the abstract. If the session is full, you will be added to the wait list. You can also add a session to your favorites list by clicking the star next to the session. Note you cannot schedule multiple sessions for the same timeslot.
The ‘My Schedule’ link in the navigation bar will take you to the week view of your schedule. You can unschedule sessions here and also view your favorites (click the box next to ‘Show Favorites’). Clicking on a session title in this view will show you the session abstract and speaker names.
You can view either a week view of your schedule (default view) or a day view by clicking the calendar icons in the upper right corner next to the ‘Show Favorites’ toggle.
Should you not be entitled to attend a specific session or if there is additional payment required, you will receive a notification pop up.
Adding sessions to your Personal Agenda only guarantees you a seat for the session if you are scanned to go in before the session starts. Once the session starts, seats are on a first come-first served basis. If you have pre-enrolled to a session, ensure you arrive at the session early in order to get access to that session.
Using my recommendations
Once logged in, go to ‘My Dashboard’ to view your recommended sessions. Recommendations are refined as you schedule or favorite sessions and demos or rate your recommendations. Below each recommended session you will see a % match. This match is based on your history, interests and actions.
To refine the recommendations chosen for you, click the ‘Rate These Recommendations’ button and select thumbs up or thumbs down for each session. Come back frequently to see new recommendations.
How to Find and Register for Technical Seminars
Select ‘Session Type’ in the Filters sidebar, and choose ‘Technical Seminar’. You will be provided with a list of all the Technical Seminars available.
You can also find Technical Seminars by entering “TEC” into the search bar. Session IDs labeled “TEC” are Technical Seminars. You may click the plus icon or session title for more details.
To register for a Technical Seminar, you will need to purchase it through our registration site.
Scheduling Personal Time
You may add personal time to your schedule as reminders for other conference activities such as demos and meeting with colleagues.
This feature is available from mid-January through the Cisco Events Mobile App only.
