About Cisco Live Online Accounts and Registration

Cisco Live accounts can be created by registering for an in-person event or joining CiscoLive.Cisco.com for free. Your account will give you access to on-demand sessions and live webcasts.

 

Joining CiscoLive.Cisco.com does not register you for an in-person event.

 

To register for a specific in-person event, go to the event site – Cisco Live U.S., Cisco Live EMEA, Cisco Live Melbourne, or click here for the Cisco Live 2018 Cancun registration packages.

 

If you registered for an in person event first, your event credentials will also give you access to online content. Past event attendees also automatically have access to on-demand content.

I am already a member of CiscoLive.Cisco.com or CiscoLive.com/global but now I want to register for an event, do I need a new account?
You do not need a new account. Go to an event site and register – the system will recognise you through your email address.

Cisco Live 2018 Cancun In-Person Registration FAQ's

In what language sessions will be delivered?

The Cisco Live sessions will be delivered in English or Spanish, depending on the speaker’s language, and there will be simultaneous translation service English-Spanish / Spanish-English onsite.

 

Where can I book my hotel room?

Cisco Live contracts hotel accommodations in Cancun at a discounted rate for registered Cisco Live attendees. Please note that you are responsible for making your own hotel reservations. To learn more, please visit the Hotels and Travel page.

 

Why do I must pay for a Resort Fee if I stay at another hotel other than the Moon Palace?

The Moon Palace is an All Inclusive hotel. In order to have access to the venue, including meals and beverages, you need to pay to the Moon Palace hotel a Resort Fee. This Resort Fee grants you access to the venue and all meals and beverages during the day at any of the Sunrise and Nizuc Towers restaurants. What discounts am I eligible for?

The only discounts applicable are Early Bird and Regular discounts (applicable to Full Conference and IT Management pass types). These are available until June 28, 2018 and November 16, 2018, respectively.

 

Can I purchase a day pass or Explorer pass?

There are no specific day passes nor Explorer passes – we only offer the Full Conference and the IT Management passes.

 

Can I purchase a Technical Seminar on its own?

No. Technical Seminars cannot be purchased individually. It can only be purchased with/in addition to a Cisco Live Registration Pass.
*Note – Please note that Technical Seminars are held on Wednesday.

 

Can I purchase a guest pass for the Customer Appreciation Event?
Yes, the Customer Appreciation Event guest pass can be purchased by any Cisco Live pass holder, to bring a guest. The cost is $250.00 USD and you can purchase it only onsite.

 

I can’t login/I have forgotten my password.

Simply follow the below steps to reset your password:

 

  • Log into Cisco Live Website: ciscolive.cisco.com/latam
  • Click on “Login” which can be found on top right of the top navigation
  • Click on “Forgot my password
  • Enter your email address
  • Click “Submit” to confirm password reset request
  • A system email will be sent to the email with instructions

I can no longer attend; can I give my pass to someone?

Substitutes may be made FOC from the same company at no charge and must be submitted in writing to contacto@ciscolivecancun.com. Once we have received confirmation in writing we can transfer their profile in the backend – the person that the pass is transferring to MUST have registered up until the check-out page (ie filled out all the questions and accepted the terms and conditions) so that we can complete the transfer.

 

Can I purchase more than one pass and how is this done?

Multiple passes can be purchased, and this can be done via the Group Purchase link on the registration portal. For more information please refer back to the payment section.

Using the Session Catalog

To find sessions in the Session Catalog, you can select filters on the left sidebar or enter search terms into the search bar.

 

Click the + icon in the Filters sidebar to expand and view all options for that filter. Click a select box to choose your filter. You can only choose one filter for Learning Paths but may choose more than one for Session Type, Track, Technology, and Technical Level.

 

To remove filters from your search results, click the “x” symbol after the filter or click Clear All (both are located below the search box).

 

To see all session details, click the + icon next to the session title. Clicking on a speaker name will show more details for that speaker and provide a link to all of the speaker’s sessions.

 

You can add a session to your favorites list by clicking the star. Click the box next to “Filter My Favorites only” in the search area to view your favorites list. Sessions can be added to your favorites list for ease of scheduling when the scheduler functionality is launched.

 

 

How to Find and Register for Labs and Seminars

 

The session catalog features search capabilities to help you find the exact training sessions you want. You can search by session type—for example, select for “Labs: Instructor-Led” to see all available Labs. Sessions IDs labeled “LTR” are Labs, and sessions IDs labeled “TEC” are Technical Seminars. You may click the plus icon or session title for more details.

 

To register for a Technical Seminar, purchase the training through our registration site.

 

 

Troubleshooting

 

If no sessions display in the Session Catalog, you may need to update your browser settings. Check your browser’s security and privacy settings to make sure JavaScript is allowed.

 

If you have browser plug-ins that block site analytics, add “ciscolive.cisco.com” to your list of trusted sites.

CiscoLive.cisco.com

ciscolive.cisco.com is the access portal to all Cisco Live sites and the location of all on-demand content (replacing CiscoLive.com/global). You can register for an account and see your overall session history recommendations.

 

ciscolive.cisco.com hosts the on-demand session library and webcasts as well as live broadcasts from event sites. You can search for particular sessions via filters on the On-Demand Library page. Visit the Online Events agenda to learn about upcoming webcasts and broadcasts.

Cisco Live Event Content

Conference PDFs
Session PDFs for each event will be available during the event in the Session Catalog. Session PDFs will be added to ciscolive.cisco.com after the event has concluded. Cisco Live Cancun session PDFs will only be available post event and will not be in the event Session Catalog.

 

Keynotes
Keynotes are often available as early as 24 hours after broadcast. Keynotes do not have PDFs.

 

Missing PDFs
Most sessions presented at an event will contain a PDF. PDFs that are not currently available will be updated as they are received. Please check back for updates.

 

Technical Seminars (TEC)
Conference TEC PDFs will be available on event Session, Content Catalogs / Session Scheduler during the event and on ciscolive.cisco.com, after the event has finished. TEC PDFs are only viewable to those who purchased them.

Videos and Live Events

Viewing Live Events
Live broadcasts of global Cisco Live events are viewable from the home page. You do not need an account to view these broadcasts. Broadcast details are published to the Online Events page several weeks before the event.

 

Video Availability
Videos are usually available within a few weeks after a live event. Check the home page announcements for more information. While we do record a large number of sessions, not all sessions are recorded. Check back as the session may be recorded at another event in the future.

Note: TEC and LAB sessions are NOT recorded, as these are paid sessions meant to be delivered in-person.

 

Finding and Viewing Sessions with Videos
On the On-Demand Library search page, you can filter Video on Demand sessions by selecting “Features > Sessions with video” on the left side. Click the title of the session you would like to view. The session details page will open. Click the link under View Session. Not all sessions have video. You can further refine your search by selecting various filters on the left.

Note: You must log in to watch videos or download PDFs.

 

Video Downloads
Audio and video files are not available for download. PDFs are available for download.
